Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on your inquiry and how far along your conversation with us is — typically a handful of messages over the course of an active inquiry, not a recurring subscription.

We only enroll a phone number in our SMS program when the person submitting our web form affirmatively checks the consent checkbox displayed at the end of the form, directly above the submit button. The checkbox is unchecked by default and is entirely optional — the form submits and the cash offer is delivered whether or not it is checked. The exact language presented at the point of consent reads:

The checkbox is optional. It is unchecked by default, it is never pre-selected, and leaving it unchecked does not prevent the form from being submitted or change the cash offer you receive. Consent to messaging is not a condition of any purchase or service.
Messaging consent stands alone. This checkbox covers messaging and automated calls only. Acceptance of our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy happens separately, on form submission, and is never bundled into this box — checking it is not a prerequisite for anything else, and agreeing to our terms does not opt you into messages.
A single, narrowly scoped use case. This consent covers one thing only: follow-up about a property inquiry the person submitted to us — offer updates, questions about the home, and scheduling a walkthrough. We do not use it for promotional campaigns, newsletters, unrelated offers, or any other messaging program. We operate no other SMS program and never message any audience other than property owners who contacted us.
Ordinary phone calls are not covered here. If you give us your number, we may call you back about your inquiry the same way any business would. This consent is specifically about automated calls and text messages.
We record the timestamp of your consent alongside your submission, so that we can demonstrate when and how consent was given for any specific phone number on request.
You may withdraw consent and stop receiving text messages from us at any time, using any of the following methods:
Opting out of text messages does not opt you out of phone calls or email — you may unsubscribe from each channel independently by contacting us.
Consent to messaging is never a condition of using our service. The consent checkbox is optional and unchecked by default. Leaving it unchecked does not block the form, does not change your cash offer, and does not limit your ability to sell your property to us.
If you leave it unchecked, you still receive your cash offer estimate by email, and you can call or email us at any time. We simply will not text or place automated calls to your number. If you prefer, you may also decline to provide a phone number at all and contact our office directly instead.
Lion Cash Buyers does not sell, rent, or share your phone number or SMS consent with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Your phone number is used solely by our internal acquisitions team and the service providers we use to operate our business (such as our texting platform and CRM), and only for the purposes described in this policy.
We retain your contact information and consent record for as long as reasonably necessary to service your inquiry, maintain accurate business records, and comply with applicable law. You may request that we delete your information at any time by contacting us using the information below, subject to any records we are required to retain by law.
